Swimming Instructor Salary - £25,584 - £27,269 pro rota (Grade 4) Hours - 5.5 Contract type - part time, permanent We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified Swimming Instructor to work within our professional team at WV Active Bilston - Bert Williams to assist in the delivery our school swimming program during term times and our swim school which runs through Monday - Sunday throughout the year We support over 12,000 active members in achieving their health and fitness goals and host national events at our Aldersley facility. Key requirements You will need to be highly motivated, passionate about swimming and willing to undergo training to support your existing qualifications. You will be working within a customer focused team and you will need to be able to work effectively as part of that team. The role will include the safe delivery of our Schools Learn to Swim Programme and our Learn 2 Swim programme which uses the Swim England teaching scheme. You will also need to have excellent communication and customer service skills. The following qualifications are required: Current RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or National Rescue Award for swimming teachers & Coaches The post will also require the post holder to carry out administration tasks that are linked to the running of a successful Learn to Swim Programme.
