To deliver evidence-based psychological therapies within community and wellbeing service settings. As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, you will provide psychological thinking and consultation. You will also deliver clinical and therapy supervision to other psychological professionals, contributing to a developing, trauma-informed community mental health care for service users (SUs) and their carers accessing Adult Community & Wellbeing Services.
This includes:
1. Providing highly specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and delivering evidence-based psychological therapies.
2. Contributing to multi-disciplinary meetings by offering advice and consultation on SUs' psychological care to clinical colleagues and non-professional carers, and facilitating case formulation and discussion groups.
3. Utilising research skills for audit, service development, and research within the service area to contribute to service development.
4. Delivering clinical supervision to other psychological professionals.
This is an exciting time to join this service as we develop significant service expansion, in line with the NHS long-term plan and the national programme of community mental health transformation.
