Job Description:
We are looking for a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team at Keswick Reach Lodge Retreats in Cockermouth, Cumbria. Hourly rate of £11.44.
This is a Sick Cover position to work Part time hours. This will be 16 hours across 2 variable days which will include weekends and bank holidays. Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.
About The Role
Main responsibilities:
1. Become a part of our Front of House team.
2. Take food and drink orders.
3. Assist with clearing and resetting tables within the restaurant.
4. Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
5. Be responsible for accurate and efficient stock rotation.
6. Be responsible for accurate cash handling, using EPOS system.
7. Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of the bar and restaurant areas is always maintained to a five-star standard.
8. Assist with the swift collection of glasses and tableware.
Requirements:
Similar previous experience is preferred. Positive work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills. A driving licence and the ability to drive is an advantage to enable easy travel to and from the resort.
