Role Overview
As a Senior Implementation Consultant, you will lead the end-to-end implementation of financial software solutions, working closely with clients to understand their business needs and deliver tailored configurations. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring seamless adoption of the technology while driving process improvements. This role requires a strong background in ERP or financial system implementations, excellent client-facing skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the full lifecycle of software implementations, from initial scoping and requirements gathering to configuration, testing, and go-live.
* Work closely with clients to understand their business processes, providing expert advice on best practices and system optimisation.
* Configure financial software solutions to align with client requirements, ensuring efficient workflows and compliance.
* Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to users to ensure successful adoption of the platform.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including product, support, and development, to enhance system functionality and resolve client issues.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
* Identify potential risks and proactively address challenges to maintain project success.
* Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in financial technology to provide valuable insights to clients.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in ERP, financial management, or accounting software implementation.
* Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes within a business context.
* Experience leading end-to-end implementations, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, and go-live.
* Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build strong relationships and provide consultative support.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective software solutions.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in SQL or reporting tools is a plus but not essential.
* A background in finance, accounting, or technology consulting is desirable.
