The project: Our Transportation sector is going from strength to strength and are now looking for inspiring individuals looking for their next adventure to join our team. We are particularly looking for people with experience in the rail Industry to join our Asset protection team supporting Network Rail in the Eastern region. As an Asset Protection Engineer you will provide the professional engineering and technical interface within the Asset protection team for outside and third parties and manage the engineering and safety specification for the safe delivery of outside and third party activities so that cost, time and quality objectives are met and delivered within corporate guidelines and engineering risk is identified and mitigated. You will deliver competent engineering assurance in compliance with engineering standards and legislation. We are specifically seeking candidates with a strong technical background in a NR environment within any of the following disciplines Civil/Structural Engineering, Track, Signalling, Telecommunications and Electrification (E&P). You’ll need to have: You have relevant experience in engineering disciplines, ideally with involvement in construction and design projects across multi discipline areas along with technical qualifications to HNC/HND or equivalent GNVQ level. You have relevant experience in a complex project environment including demonstrable experience in team management, planning, contracting and delivery of projects. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You’ll also have Working towards a chartered membership or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development. Experience in fulfilling the requirements of NR/L2/RSE/02009 Engineering Management for Projects in the following roles as per the requirements of NR/L2/RSE/02009/01 Experience managing parts of construction projects within large, diverse teams. Experience of building relationships with key stakeholders. Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
