An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sexual Health Nurse Adviser Band 6 to join the successful Health Protection: Communicable Diseases Health Inclusion Programme. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience in public health and training to be responsible for supporting the delivery of the Sexual Health Wales service in Public Health Wales. They will work as a skilled Sexual Health practitioner, delivering programmes of care which address the complex and changing health needs of the population of Wales in line with Welsh Governments Health and Social Care strategy and Public Health Wales' priorities. Main duties of the job The post holder will undergo ongoing development and education through a comprehensive induction programme to build on existing knowledge and develop skills to provide specialist sexual health protection advice and meet competencies required to undertake the role. The post holder will need to effectively communicate and engage with patients and colleagues through the medium of telephony and digital communications.
