Description Job Summary: As a Global Equities - Nexus Platform - Associate within our team, you will be working closely with Trading, Sales, and other business functions to deliver tailored solutions. This role provides the opportunity to focus on Nexus Prime Transactions, interact with clients and sales partners daily, and expand the capabilities and client base of the Nexus Prime platform. We are looking for a self-motivated team member with experience in equity derivative products, especially delta one products, and knowledge of different booking structures and internal systems within Equities. Job Responsibilities: Closely working with Trading, Sales, and other business functions to deliver tailored solutions. Working with Nexus enables managers to outsource to J.P. Morgan the operations, execution, and synthetic delivery of their strategies so they can focus on what they do best – navigate markets and raise assets. Creating investment products which reference a dynamic portfolio of Equities and other asset classes which can be rebalanced on an ongoing basis. Having a primary focus on Nexus Prime Transactions, which reference a synthetic portfolio subject to frequent rebalancing. Sales coverage: global focus with emphasis on sophisticated sovereign wealth funds, retail brokers & asset managers. Including core product development and implementation with a strong focus on expanding the capabilities and client base of the Nexus Prime platform. There will be day-to-day interaction with clients and sales partners, as well as liaising with different internal control functions. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: The role requires an enquiring mind, perseverance, and the ability to handle a large amount of information. Ability to understand simple as well as complex equity derivatives products as well as the regulations and risks relating to them. The individual should be self-motivated, with the drive and skill to seek out new client opportunities and produce thoughtful ideas to meet bespoke client requirements. Ability to work under pressure. Reliability and team-player personality. Experience in equity derivative products, especially delta one products. Knowledge of different booking structures and internal systems within Equities. This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
