Junior FP&A – Hospitality Group – Bury St. Edmunds (Hybrid) – Up to £28k
I’m working with an award-winning group that operates pubs and restaurants, serving great food and drinks.
We are seeking a recent graduate with a finance-related degree and strong academic results, interested in building a career in finance and pursuing further qualifications such as CIMA or ACCA. Hospitality experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
* Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports and KPIs, including sales, wages, and performance trends.
* Participate in annual planning and budgeting, liaising with on-site operations on sales, labor, gross margin, and discretionary costs.
* Report on capital expenditure for new sites, refurbishments, and maintenance, including post-investment analysis.
* Support Operations Managers with insightful KPI reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
* Assist the CFO and FP&A team with ad-hoc reports, analysis, projects, or planning as needed.
Desired Skills and Experience
* Strong academic background with excellent A-level and university results.
* Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Datawarehouse reporting, Excel Add-ins, and accounting/reporting software is desirable.
* Effective time management and ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills to explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
* Proactive approach to identifying improvement opportunities.
* Degree in Accountancy or Finance preferred.
* Experience in FP&A and supporting operational teams is advantageous.
* Hospitality or Leisure industry experience is beneficial but not essential.
