Summary:
Reporting to the Executive Director of Operations and Strategy for the School of Business, the Strategic Programs Assistant supports the school of business by assisting in creating and implementing its key strategic initiatives and associated day-to-day tasks. The Strategic Programs Assistant has direct engagement in and observation of strategic projects, hands-on management, and mentoring from executive management.
Essential responsibilities include:
1. Collaborate with the direct manager to coordinate and participate in strategic projects under his/her direction.
2. Maintain responsibility for documentation and project planning, which may involve becoming adept with technology tools such as Notion, Slack, Salesforce, Asana, etc.
3. Attend meetings, take notes, and coordinate any associated action items.
4. Assist with scheduling and coordination of key department and cross-college meetings.
5. Coordinate the logistics and promotion of GSB-sponsored or supported events.
6. Manage the content updates and planning for GSB sections of gordon.edu, tactical landing pages, Canvas, and other associated technical platforms.
7. Other administrative tasks as required.
