Phipps Cameron are delighted to partner with a fast-growing beauty business in their search for a pricing analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly established pricing function in a dynamic business.
Key Responsibilities
* Data Analysis and Pricing Insights: Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and historical data to provide insights for optimal pricing strategies.
* Pricing Model Development: Develop and maintain pricing models and tools to support decision-making and ensure competitive and profitable pricing.
* Monitoring and Reporting: Track pricing performance and create reports to identify opportunities for improvement or adjustments.
* Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align pricing strategies with business goals and market needs.
* Profitability Analysis: Evaluate the financial impact of pricing decisions by analyzing profit margins, costs, and revenue forecasts.
* Compliance and Governance: Ensure pricing practices adhere to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and contractual agreements.
About the candidate
* Experience working within a pricing function in a consumer product industry (beauty, retail, FMCG, etc.)
* Proven experience in data analysis, pricing strategies, or financial modeling using tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python
* Experience presenting findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams, including senior management
* Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights to optimize pricing strategies
* Hands-on experience with pricing or analytics software such as Tableau, Power BI, or SAP
