We are currently working with a client in East Sussex who is seeking a Head of Nursing within the Safeguarding Department. You will be a vital member of the Senior Management Team who will support the Nursing Division in the delivery of the Key Performance Targets and Safeguarding strategies. You will need to provide a proactive Senior Nursing Leadership and management for Safeguarding Adults and Learning Disabilities.
Band 8bFull Time: 37.5 hrs per weekTo start: ASAPDuration: 3 - 6 monthsRoles will be across all Sites which cover Brighton, Worthing, Chichester, Haywards Heath and Shoreham
Your Management and Leadership Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Direction: Collaborate with the Associate Director and safeguarding SMT to determine the safeguarding service's strategic direction.
2. Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and service quality for safeguarding at UHSussex.
3. Performance Management: Oversee performance management and professional standards of Safeguarding Nurse Specialists.
4. Systems and Processes: Ensure systems and processes support safeguarding patients with Adults and Learning Disabilities.
