An opportunity has arisen to join our forward-thinking, dynamic, and innovative Community Dietetics Team. We are looking for a passionate individual, with great problem-solving skills to join our team as our Tier 2 Mental Health Dietitian in ABUHB.
The post-holder will gain experience of working with individuals with mental illness and will have a compassionate and flexible approach to Dietetic care. They will be encouraged and supported to engage in clinical supervision and ongoing training as part of enhancing their skill set, development, and well-being.

Main Duties of the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Specialist Band 6 Dietitian to work within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Tier 2 Adult Mental Health Services.
The post-holder will be responsible for Dietetic input to a number of the community mental health teams and tier 2 adult specialist mental health wards across Gwent.
The post-holder will gain understanding of the main psychological therapies and treatments for a range of mental health conditions.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a good experience, knowledge, and understanding of common mental health conditions and have enthusiasm for working with this population.
You will work alongside the full adult multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the assessment and care of adults at the different stages of their mental health journeys, including individual, group, community, and specialist adult inpatient wards.
You will be expected to travel to a range of sites, and work both face to face and virtually to allow improved access for families and care closer to home.
The post holder will join a team of committed clinicians who strive to provide high-quality care to adults whilst protecting staff wellbeing and development.
Your professional base will be with Ty Gwent with ABUHB Community Dietetics team.
