Millfield Summer Camp is looking for enthusiastic and passionate staff to help provide an exciting, interesting, and safe environment for our international participants aged between 8 and 16.
We have opportunities for Activity, Pastoral, Operational, Technical, and Teaching staff for full-time temporary contracts in July and August 2025.
Full training is offered. Accommodation and food are available for the duration of your contract.

Job Description: Campus Admin Assistant
Responsible to: Cover Manager who in turn is responsible to the Centre Manager and Millfield Summer Camp Manager.
Job Purpose: To provide admin support as needed to the management team at Glastonbury to ensure the smooth running of the campus.
* Safeguarding children is the responsibility of all members of Millfield staff.
* Support the Glastonbury management team.
* Support those responsible for the care, welfare, and safety of children.
* Provide administrative support relating to all Glastonbury campus matters.
* Return all equipment to its appropriate place after use and report any damages or breakages to the Enterprises Operational Manager.
* Assist with the greeting of new participants on campus and with the departure of participants from campus as needed, normally on Saturdays.
* Ensure that general safety procedures are observed at all times. If in doubt about safety at any time, please stop the activity immediately and check with your line manager or the Enterprises Operational Manager.
* Acquaint yourself with all relevant fire, safety, and health arrangements whether in-house or around campus.
* Report any matters of unprofessional behaviour, indiscipline, misbehaviour, major complaints, accidents, illnesses, or personal problems among the participant body to your line manager as soon as possible.
* Report all participants' absences to the Millfield Summer Camp Manager / Director of Enterprises immediately.
* Read and understand the Staff Guide and be familiar with our policies for the welfare and protection of children, ensuring staff adhere to them.
OTHER
* Take a full and active part in Summer Camp life, including attending meetings and ensuring the children have a memorable and rewarding summer.
* Participate in and help with Staff Induction.
* Behave in a professional manner at all times, ensuring that your conduct in front of participants is of the highest standard.
* Represent the good name of Millfield School at all times.
* Other duties as assigned by your line manager, providing they are appropriate to your role.
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION
* Be well-equipped and prepared for the responsibilities of the Campus Admin Assistant.
* Prior experience with the supervision of children.
* A good team member but able to work on own initiative.
* Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others.
* Proficient in IT packages including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
* A First Aid qualification is desirable; please ensure a copy of your certificate is available.
