Making A Difference as A Cleaner in School Traded Services
We have a vacancy for a Cleaner at Grange Valley Primary School. The hours of work are 7.50 per week. These hours are normally worked Monday to Friday from 3.30pm - 5.00pm (variable to meet the needs of the service).
Our cleaners provide an essential service to schools and other council buildings throughout the borough, ensuring working areas are a safe environment for themselves, staff, pupils, and the public.
Our cleaners work individually or part of a team to complete the following daily cleaning routines, Sweeping, Vacuuming, emptying of litter bins, polishing, dusting, buffing, washing, mopping.
Other duties may include, ordering cleaning equipment and periodic tasks such as Polishing Hard floors, Washing Tables & Chairs and Carpet Cleaning.
Our teams work in accordance with health & safety policy and procedure to ensure safe working practices are always upheld in their roles.
You must be comfortable and confident in being able to communicate with managers, colleagues, and members of the public as necessary in accordance with council policy.
Full training and understanding of council policy will be administered to all those who start in this role.
Experience is not required for this role as full training is provided.
