We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our team. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality care and support to residents with complex mental health needs. Assist residents in their daily activities and promote independence. Implement personalised care plans and ensure the well-being of each resident. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care. Monitor and report on residents' progress and any changes in their condition. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Requirements: Must live within a radius of 15 miles from Felixstowe. Previous experience in working with adults aged 18-65 with mental health needs (particularly schizophrenia) is essential and is a deal braker. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Proficiency in active listening and the ability to read body language. Relevant qualifications in health and social care are desirable. Benefits: Competitive salary of £11.50 - £12.00 per hour.
