THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated Compliance Analyst to join our team and support a strong and ethical compliance framework. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the Compliance team, ensuring adherence to UK FCA regulations and maintaining high governance standards.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing FCA Connect Filings, overseeing regulatory data submissions, maintaining compliance records, and supporting updates to policies and procedures. This position will provide hands-on exposure to compliance reporting requirements, regulatory oversight, and operational compliance functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Working with the Compliance team to promote a strong and ethical compliance framework
* Responsibility for completion of UK FCA Connect Filings non-financial reporting pursuant to SMCR including Statement of Responsibilities and Fitness & Proprietary certifications. Ensure leavers, new joiners and changes to individuals’ circumstances are reflected on the FCA Directory and maintain appropriate records working alongside HR as necessary
* Responsibility for oversight of outsourced service providers in UK FCA Reg Data Filings (excluding Annex IV) associated with the Firm’s business activities including managing Reg Data access and timetable
* Assist with updates and advisory on Policies and Procedures including the Compliance Manual, Compliance Policies and Procedures Manual and Compliance Registers
* Ensure annual and periodic (including new joiner) Staff Attestations are complete and issued on time working alongside IT as necessary
* Assist in the management of day-to-day compliance activities including ownership of Compliance SharePoint Dashboard for information maintenance on compliance-related issues (e.g. oversight and monitoring of staff Personal Account Dealing, Gifts and Entertainment and trading preclearance requirements)
* Assist as necessary in responses to Investor Due Diligence questionnaires and Audit Requests for Information
* Any other task assigned from time to time or arising from initiatives of NextEnergy Group of companies.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* Generalist compliance knowledge including administration of compliance systems, regulatory filings and monitoring
* Proficient in Microsoft office suite and excellent IT skills to manage Compliance SharePoint
* Excellent written & communication skills, attention to detail and a precise approach
* Self-starter with a pro-active approach and ability to work independently
* Ability to develop strong relationships and be a trusted advisor within the team
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
* Undergraduate University degree, at a minimum
* Recognised compliance certification desired
* 2-3 year’s UK financial services compliance experience and knowledge with experience gained from Private Equity, Private Infrastructure or generalist consulting experience
* Knowledge and experience of FCA compliance matters
* Prudential regulatory knowledge a plus
