The Business Development Director is responsible for leading and managing the company’s Electronic Testing business development activities (EMC/EF). This role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. The Business Development Director will work closely with senior leadership to create and implement strategies that enhance market presence and achieve company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company growth targets. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
2. Lead Generation and Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships. Develop and manage a pipeline of potential clients and partners. Negotiate and close deals to secure new business.
3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Address and resolve any issues or concerns from clients.
4. Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product development teams to align business development efforts with company goals. Provide leadership and mentorship to the business development team. Oversee the development of proposals, presentations, and contracts.
5. Performance Monitoring: Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for business development activities. Analyze and report on business development performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
6. Market and Industry Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape. Identify emerging opportunities and potential threats in the market.
7. Budget Management: Develop and manage the business development budget. Ensure efficient allocation of resources to achieve business development goals.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.
2. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position. Exposure to Electronics Testing and/or the TIC industry a plus.
3. Skills: Strong strategic thinking and planning skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities. Proven track record of successful business development and deal closure. Ability to analyze market trends and data to drive strategic decisions. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
