Are you an experienced Land and Property Surveyor looking for your next opportunity? Magna Housing has an exciting role for you to oversee large-scale refurbishment and regeneration projects from design to completion. The role and what you take care of: As a Land and Property Surveyor at Magna, you will be integral to our efforts to design and enhance our existing homes and estates. You will work closely with our growth and investment teams, as well as contractors, to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Serving as the main liaison, you will connect customers, contractors, and colleagues to facilitate successful land and property transformations. Key responsibilities: Design and upgrade existing homes and estates, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards through site inspections and surveys. Implement a strategic asset management approach while fostering strong partnerships with contractors and stakeholders. Assess and report on performance and spend. Compile comprehensive reports and documentation for project planning and implementation. Efficiently manage budgets and resources to ensure the project's success. What you need to be successful: You will be an experienced land and property professional, having previously worked on refurbishment and redevelopment programmes that focus on the improvement of multi-home sites through to large complex buildings. In addition to your technical expertise and qualifications, you will be accustomed to actively engaging in hands-on tasks while maintaining programme governance and control. You will excel in identifying and mitigating risks, as well as resolving the inevitable challenges that arise in any major project. Great building knowledge and an innovative mindset. Analytical with exceptional problem-solving abilities combined with the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively, complemented by strong communication and leadership skills. A degree in a construction-related field is advantageous. However, equivalent experience and knowledge in construction, combined with a mathematical aptitude and excellent communication, numeracy, and interpersonal skills will also be considered This post is subject to a basic level Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.
