About Us: Ambios Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to nature recovery training and rewilding. We provide practical training, funded projects, and community engagement to support nature recovery and empower individuals to achieve their goals for nature, science, education, and employment. The Role: We are seeking a conscientious, organised individual to join our small and friendly team at our residential training base near Totnes. We're looking for a part time business administrator and course coordinator. The role will involve running business administration, supporting the coordination of training courses/events, and overseeing website updates. You’ll work alongside the Ambios directors, marketing and communications officer, and project staff to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of Ambios operations. The role is 20 hours a week, across four days. Flexible working arrangements are available, with one mandatory office day per week. The Candidate: This role requires an organised and methodical person who works well in a team, is personable and flexible Excellent communication skills with various audiences Experience of maintaining and editing websites (WordPress) Efficient organisational and time management skills Ability to prioritise and work under own supervision Strong problem-solving (solution focused) skills and resourcefulness Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team Knowledge of nature recovery, wildlife and habitats is desirableWorking knowledge of GDPR regulations and ability to work to limited budget is desirable. Hours/Shift Pattern: 20 hours/week across up to 4 days per week by arrangement (may include occasional weekend working)This is a hybrid role with one mandatory office day per week.Ambios operates a Time Off in Lieu system.Statutory Annual Leave allocation (28 days full time equivalent pro rata 15 days holiday) including bank holidays – the holiday year runs from 1st April – 31st March additional wellbeing days offered pro rata (2.5 additional leave days)Some flexibility offered when hours worked accounting for school holidays.
