Responsible for developing writing and editing content for a variety of projects (including print, web, mobile, video, large campaigns and social media), working closely with the marketing and design team to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and articulate messaging for the property finance market. Working to create clear concise product focussed content for a variety of audiences across the mortgage and lending industries. Key Accountabilities Work with the Group Marketing Director and 2 x HoM across 3 brands to create fresh, product led copy that continually raises to bar to connect with audiences and hit objectives. Ensure all copy aligns to the business priorities, tone of voice and values. Interpret creative briefs to develop concepts for execution with assigned brands and collaborate with the team from concept development to delivery of final product Write original copy and edit content for a range of online and offline marketing and communications materials Work with product and design team to create a suite of product focussed guides and criteria content for marketing distribution. Research and understand the markets ever changing needs & target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject-matter experts, and in-person meetings Build and maintain relationships with industry press, create regular PR content and press releases to promote brands within trade publications. Skills & Competencies Excellent copy and proof-reading skills Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Knowledge & Qualifications Degree (or equivalent education) in journalism, English, communication or related discipline. Experience creating copy within property, financial services or ideally mortgages and lending industries 4 or more years of professional copywriting experience with portfolio of work in required industries Personal Attributes Team player Flexibility when working on projects and to tight deadlines Ability to work independently Creativity and confidence to contribute new campaign and brand ideas
