The role We are seeking an experienced and engaging Internal Communications Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies within our organisation, across various channels providing advice on how best to reach the desired audience, ensuring consistent and clear messaging to our colleagues. What youll do Develop and implement relevant, engaging internal communications campaigns: You'll craft compelling content across a variety of channels (email, events, digital platforms) which bring to life our purpose, values and business objectives in a way that informs, engages, and inspires our colleagues across the island of Ireland Deliver our internal communications strategy: You'll collaborate closely with the Head of Communications and Engagement to support the execution of our overarching internal communications strategy Manage internal communications channels: You'll oversee the day-to-day management of our internal communications channels, ensuring they are current, relevant, and engaging A digital content creator: Youll be familiar with how to use design platforms such as Photoshop or Canva, to create striking visuals and content for internal comms channels Create compelling, original content to amplify our messages: Youll have an inherent sense for storytelling and news, identifying and sharing inspiring stories to foster a strong sense of pride and belonging within Breedon - youll know the best format and platform to share it. Youll ensure effective communications on the latest business updates, policies, and initiatives Partner with key stakeholders including senior leadership: Youll develop communications plans and initiatives in response to business priorities and work collaboratively with teams and leaders across the business, including DEI, Sustainability, HR, to ensure seamless communication and alignment with business objectives A seasoned event planner: Youll be able to take a high-level idea /brief for an event and support on the organisation of it from concept to delivery, e.g. logistics, messaging, briefing stakeholders Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of internal communication efforts, and continuously improve communications practices based on data and team member feedback Provide communication support during organisational changes and crises by developing and executing communication plans for periods of change Travel to sites throughout Ireland with travel required to the UK when required Strengths youll bring A natural communicator: You have excellent verbal communication skills and youre a gifted writer with a proven ability to tailor your messages to different audiences.
