Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages students to apply psychological concepts to real-world situations. Assess and evaluate student progress through both formative and summative assessments, providing feedback that supports student growth. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes independent thought, curiosity, and respect for diverse perspectives. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, improve teaching strategies, and contribute to the development of the department. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about student progress and achievements. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Psychology or a related field. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Proven experience teaching psychology at KS4 and KS5 level. In-depth knowledge of psychology theory, research, and practice, with the ability to make these concepts accessible to students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire students and promote engagement in psychological topics. Experience in teaching A-Level Psychology or vocational psychology qualifications is an advantage.
