Job Description

* Act as a key business partner for all UK directorates, providing financial insight and advice.
* Lead the implementation of financial systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI, to improve accessibility, and functionality.
* Oversee audit processes, ensuring compliance with UK laws and donor requirements.
* Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to drive systems improvements and integration.
* Train and mentor business partners and non-financial colleagues to improve financial literacy.
* Work closely with the CFO and Financial Controller to align strategic objectives with operational goals.
* Develop and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including donors.
* Provide leadership to the team, fostering a culture of proactivity, collaboration, and accountability.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Head of Business Partnering will:

* Be a qualified accountant (CCAB - ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a proven track record in leadership roles.
* Have experience in business partnering, financial systems implementation, and stakeholder engagement.
* Possess exceptional communication skills, able to explain financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
* Bring experience in audits, compliance, and working with complex, multi-entity organisations.
* Have NGO or not-for-profit sector experience (desirable but not essential).




Longevity in previous roles and a strategic mindset will be key to success in this role.
