Job Description
This is a very exciting time to join us following the recent creation of Optoma Holding based in the UK to bring together our global regions, as we improve our infrastructure, systems and processes. With such exciting change, and with Optoma Europe playing a pivotal role in the transformation, this role will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks surrounding business analysis, forecasting, stock management, purchasing and supply chain. This Business Planner position forms a fundamental part in the execution of the Go-To-Market strategy, and effective management of the product lifecycle.
A successful candidate will be able to perform both high-level thinking when approaching an issue, as well as detailed-oriented attitude when delivering the analysis.They will have the responsibility of leading a direct report, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management. With the expansion of the team and the growth goal in mind, the candidate is expected to continuously bring new solutions and tools to keep the operation agile.
Frequent interaction with other stakeholders and a matrix structure across the Marketing, Product and Service division, promotes knowledge sharing and collaboration. A successful candidate will proactively embrace this to enhance their personal knowledge base, to form the foundations for career progression within the company.

Candidate Specification
Key Skills & Experience:
* Experience as a Supply Planner, Demand Planner or Forecast Planner
* Bachelor’s degree in business studies, operations, supply chain, economics or related field
* Proficiency in MS Excel&Power BI; experience in Python or similar programming language beneficial
* Understanding of both upstream and downstream supply chain operations
* Highly developed commercial awareness
* Strong communication skills across different hierarchical levels, with both external and internal stakeholders
* Excellent presentation, analytical and organisational skills
* Processoptimisationmindset and strong problem-solving skills with solutions derived from sound analysis
* Progressive, ambitious and a readiness to exceed expectations
