DMW Recruitment are looking for a permanent Sales & Tender Engineer to join our longstanding clients team, due to expansion. Based in Teesside (and soon to be moving to newer, larger premises) our client is at the forefront of marine and offshore innovative technology and with a bursting order book, they're adding to their established and close knit team. We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our clients internal sales and tendering team at their Teesside HQ. This role is crucial in supporting the external sales team, responding to customer enquiries, and preparing quotations and tenders, ensuring a seamless experience from enquiry through to after-sales support. Your Key Responsibilities: Respond promptly to customer inquiries across multiple channels, including email and phone. Log and manage sales enquiries, ensuring all are addressed in a timely manner. Prepare and issue quotations, liaising with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing. Expedite orders and follow up with customers, providing updates and necessary actions. Support external sales efforts by attending customer site meetings, exhibitions, and marketing events. Maintain and update our sales and opportunities database. Report to management on the status of tenders and sales opportunities. Assist in promoting projects across various marketing platforms. What We're Looking For: Strong multitasking, prioritisation, and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal communication abilities. Capacity to build and maintain relationships with both customers and suppliers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. A willingness to learn and develop a career within our dynamic industry. Desirable Skills (Not Essential): Experience in sales and distribution of electrical & automation equipment. Knowledge of the Marine and Offshore Energy sectors. A valid driving license. Why Join?
