Role Description This is a full-time or Part time on-site role based in our West Drayton training centre. The Aviation Security Trainer will be responsible for delivering AVSEC training, conducting vetting processes, and supporting recruitment services. This role involves ensuring compliance with CAA regulations and delivering high-quality security training to professionals in the aviation industry. Training Delivery: Lead training sessions both remotely and in the classroom according to the training plan and Avtav policies. Documentation: Complete all necessary pre- and post-training paperwork and issue certifications. Course Development: Assist in the maintenance and creation of new training courses in line with legislative requirements. Support Role: Serve as the key contact for all training queries, providing invaluable support to colleagues and clients. Training Management: Manage third-party training provision and ensure training quality complies with CAA requirements. Mandatory Training: Monitor and deliver mandatory re-validation training. Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate effective communication and engagement with internal and external stakeholders. Logistics Coordination: Organise training facilities and complete the weekly training schedule. Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to operating procedures and safety rules. Quality Audits: Conduct regular audits of training delivery and participate in team meetings. Professional Development: Maintain Continuous Professional Development (CPD) standards. Qualifications Experience in delivering training programs and conducting vetting processes Ability to effectively train and develop personnel using various methods tailored to different learning styles, ensuring comprehensive understanding and skill acquisition Strong communication and presentation skills Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of professionalism Team player with the ability to work collaboratively Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Level 3 award in Training and teaching certification Knowledge of CAA regulations and aviation security protocols CIN holder status is advantageous but not essential.
