The Springfield Group are looking to recruit a hardworking and reliable Kit Erect Labourer to join their busy team in Central Scotland. About The Role As a Kit Erect Labourer, you will support our Kit Erectors in assembling timber frame structures safely and efficiently across any of our Central Scotland sites. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting in the assembly and erection of timber kits, including loading, unloading, and moving materials. Helping set up and maintain a clean and organised work area, including general tidying and cleaning of properties pre-completion. Supporting Kit Erectors with various tasks during the kit erect process, ensuring timely and high quality kit erections that meet project standards. Performing basic manual tasks related to kit construction, with adherence to safety procedures and protocols and complying with the group’s health, safety and environment policy at all times. About You We are looking for a motivated individual who can work well in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will have: Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. The ability to perform physical labour, including heavy lifting and working outdoors, in compliance with the Springfield Group’s build policy and procedures. Good communication skills and a strong team-oriented attitude. Knowledge of timber frame erection, including floor cassettes and roof trusses. Experience with power tools and reading technical drawings is desirable but not essential. Willingness to travel between various sites as part of the job requirements. The ability to follow procedures and to work safely, responsibly, and accurately. Valid role-related training and a CSCS card would be advantageous. Vocational qualifications such as National Qualification units and group awards (NCs) at SCQF level 5 and SVQ2, supported with relevant building site experience.
