Tadley Court School are recruiting for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our support services team. We are looking for passionate people to make sure our sites are safe and comfortable, whilst covering all aspects of housekeeping. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and will have a flexible approach and be able to respond quickly to requests for assistance. In addition to your own cleaning duties you will also supervise a small team of Housekeepers to ensure the quality of the work of the whole team. You will also be responsible for stock control and ordering.
The hours of work would either be 5.30am-1.30pm or 6.00am to 2.00pm (37.5 hours per week), this is a full year post.

Tadley Court school is set in a beautiful semi-rural location with four acres of well-maintained grounds. We are a day school specialising in the education and care of children and young people between the age of 4 and 19 years who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties. Our children and young people may also exhibit challenging behaviour as a result of their communication difficulties and lack of social understanding.

The successful candidate will have experience of daily cleaning schedules and ensure appropriate paperwork in completed, along with the following characteristics:
Communication During your role your working environment may involve interacting with our young people we support that may display varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties.
Organisation As well as supervising the staff team, you’ll need to be confident and organised in record keeping, ensuring issues are logged on the internal computer systems and keeping up to date with routine maintenance checks.
