SEO Senior Analyst Position Overview We are seeking a talented SEO Senior Analyst with expertise in content writing and the ability to analyse website data to join our team. Reporting into the SEO Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies across some fantastic clients clients, including well-known charities. You will have an inquisitive, problem solving mindset, great technical skills, strong understanding of data, a keen eye for detail and a hunger to make the world a better place. The Day-to-Day Strategy Working with clients to clarify priorities and objectives. Opportunity analysis. Competitor analysis. Harnessing your advanced SEO knowledge to build strategies and roadmaps appropriate for clients. Content SEO Developing and delivering organic content strategies. Performing keyword research, mapping and prioritising keyword focus. Building content calendars and strategically timing the new content in alignment with client requirements. Optimising on-page content to maximise organic performance and adding additional content where necessary. Providing training to team members and clients. Digital PR Analysing the backlink portfolio and evaluating the most effective backlink prospects. Identifying and evaluating backlink gaps. Finding opportunities for guest posting and link collaboration. Suggesting outreach article titles and pitching those to publications. Generating unique ideas for getting newsworthy coverage for target keywords. Developing Digital PR strategies. Technical SEO Reviewing websites and flagging opportunities for improvement. Identifying technical quick wins to boost site performance. Making the most of industry leading tools such as Screaming Frog and Ahrefs. Supporting clients’ web developers in making SEO improvements to websites. Providing training to team members and clients. Reporting Analysing and delivering monthly client SEO performance reports. Identifying key performance trends. Benchmarking and forecasting for specific projects. Using Google Analytics and Google Search Console to spot any changes in performance throughout the month and flag where necessary to the SEO Manager and client. Requirements A passion for SEO with considerable and demonstrable experience. Excellent at writing informative and engaging web copy. Adept at managing multiple clients, projects and deadlines. Able to understand client goals and objectives and keep these front of mind. Technically minded and able to solve difficult problems. Expertise using leading SEO tools. Ability to collaborate well with our other departments, including the Paid Media team. Adaptability and versatility. Experience of working in an agency and with not-for-profit organisations / charities is preferable.
