Position: ASD Teaching Assistant\nStart Date: ASAP start\nType: Long-term, with the potential to become permanent\n\nRemedy Education is seeking experienced ASD Teaching Assistants for long-term positions starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity to support schools in providing care and assistance to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other Special Educational Needs (SEN).\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nProvide 1:1 support for children with ASD and SEN.\nAssist teachers with day-to-day teaching and learning activities.\nSupport personal care tasks where required.\nCollaborate with other staff to maintain a safe and productive environment.\nAdhere to school policies, including safeguarding, child protection, behaviour management, and health and safety.Requirements:\n\nExperience supporting children with ASD and associated challenging behaviours.\nA minimum of 3 months' experience as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant.\nCommitment to working with children with SEN.\nAbility to manage challenging behaviours and adapt to students' needs.\nProactive, patient, and enthusiastic with a positive attitude.\nStrong teamwork skills and a passion for working with children with Special Needs.\nExperience working one-to-one with students is highly desirable.Application Requirements:\n\nEnhanced DBS Disclosure and professional reference checks.\nA complete CV detailing education and employment history, including explanations for any gaps in employment.\nLegal right to work in the UK.At Remedy Education, we are committed to equal opportunities and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
