Description The ASE Media Growth SRE team ensures the safety, reliability, scalability, and speed of applications and tooling. This demanding role demands an innovative mindset and exceptional engineering prowess. Team members contribute across the entire stack, such as application troubleshooting and performance engineering, monitoring and alerting tools/dashboards, deployment architectures, and security practices - whilst consistently prioritising stability, performance, and scalability. Additionally, effective communication skills and a strong customer focus are crucial, especially when interacting with internal platform customers. Collaboration with teams globally is also essential, so the ability to work optimally with colleagues in different locations is highly valued. Minimum Qualifications Experience in Reliability Engineering, DevOps or infrastructure focused role Advanced experience with one or more programming languages (Golang, Python, Java, C++) Deep systems and infrastructure knowledge Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills Key Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with microservices architecture and container orchestration with Kubernetes and a solid understanding of core SRE concepts Automation advocate - you truly believe in removing operation load with software Experience with deploying, supporting and monitoring new and existing services, platforms, and application stacks Service management across bare metal, virtualised, and Kubernetes platforms. Datacenter architecture: networking topologies, traffic management strategies, failure modes, design of multi-datacenter systems, and wide-area networking.
