Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at The Wenlock School in Dudley, West Midlands. This role will involve working with individual pupils who require 1:1 staff support due to various social, emotional, and learning challenges.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant positive impact on the lives of our students and their families. As part of our close-knit team, you will contribute to creating a therapeutic, supportive, and inclusive learning environment that enables our pupils to succeed and reach their full potential.
In this role, you will work closely with relevant agencies, including Social Workers, Speech and Language Therapy Service, and Educational Psychologists, to provide tailored support to our pupils. You will also be responsible for supporting families and carers, promoting the well-being and welfare of all pupils, and working in accordance with professional practice and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
* To safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils and young people;
* To work in accordance with professional practice, statutory and legal requirements, and the policies of The Wenlock School;
* To take responsibility for specific areas of work, which will be reviewed annually and negotiated within the performance management cycle and school improvement process.

Salary: £22,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience). Estimated salary based on title, job description, and location.
