The post holder will occasionally be required to work evenings and at weekends to meet the requirements of the role) Salary:£25,865-£27,847 per annum Interview date:w/c 6 January 2025 The Role: The post holder will be a member of the operational team for the OUR Generation project,and will develop and deliver Joint Training Schemes to increase the mental health literacy, enhance emotional resilience & build leadership skills of children and young people (aged 9-25) and build capacity of key youth workers (teachers, community groups, youth workers, etc). The role involves working with a wide range of individuals and groups from Northern Ireland, and the border counties of Ireland, through collaboration with other partners. The project, which builds on the highly successful Peace IV OUR Generation project, is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). You will have (essential): A Level/ RQF Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a related discipline (health, education/training or social care sector) Paid or voluntary experience of working with people with mental health needs, young people or disadvantaged groups Experience in developing and extending relevant networking opportunities Experience of delivering training in a group setting A full current driving licence and access to a car is essential. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence.
