Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne - hybrid working in our city centre office at least 2 days per week

What You’ll Do
* Partner with stakeholders to deliver insightful budgets, management accounts, and reforecasts that align with our strategy.
* Use your relationship-building skills to ensure stakeholders understand performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
* Provide tailored financial advice and robust analysis to help teams deliver real impact.
* Deliver a brilliant service to one of our regions with additional responsibility for building safety works and aspects of leasehold.
* Drive continuous improvement, enhancing processes with new ideas and tech solutions.
* Work in a fun, collaborative environment where being “not your typical accountant” is celebrated!
What You Bring
* A qualified accountant, you’ll bring a brilliant working knowledge of producing management accounts, financial budgets and reforecasts.
* Brilliant technical accounting skills, with the ability to critically analyse financial information and recommend strategic solutions.
* Confidence in influencing and negotiating with budget holders to drive results.
* Strong Excel and Word skills, plus experience with integrated financial systems.
* A passion for collaboration and supporting team success—you’re a team player who loves delivering brilliant service!
Job details
* Working week is Monday to Friday
* This is a hybrid role, and you’ll work at least 2 days in the office, of which one is an anchor day (Wednesday), at Strawberry Lane, Newcastle
* You’ll manage your own diary, so if you need to work from home to take delivery of your new fridge or take a longer lunch for a haircut, you can use your flexi time to manage that!
