Position: Area Manager
Location: Dundee
Salary: £37,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
We are seeking an experienced Manager with a background in light vehicle maintenance and repair to join our team in Dundee. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operation of our stores and repair centres in Dundee.
Salary Range: £35,000 - £37,000 per annum
Bonus: Average uncapped bonus of £10,800 per year (with potential to earn more)

Skills and Experience:
* Fantastic leadership and team management skills within the automotive or similar industry
* Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and displaying effective management
* Engaging and motivational, coaching-based approach to team development and able to provide in-the-moment training
* Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety
* Experienced with high sales turnover and managing KPIs
* Excellent communication skills, verbally and written
* IT proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems
* Good time management
* A current valid driving licence
Key Responsibilities:
* Workshop Management: Lead the daily operations, ensuring high levels of efficiency and productivity in the servicing and repair of cars and vans.
* Budget & Cost Control: Manage budgets and control costs, ensuring financial efficiency.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce rigorous health and safety standards within the workshop.
* Customer Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring effective fleet maintenance.
* Workload Planning: Plan and schedule workloads.
* Invoicing Systems: Oversee and ensure the effective operation of invoicing systems.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Managerial Experience: Previous experience managing a workshop, particularly with LCVs and Light Vehicles.
* Leadership Skills: Strong team leadership and management abilities.
* Communication Skills: Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and communication skills.
* IT Skills: Proficient in IT, with the ability to manage invoicing and other digital systems.
* Preferred: Category C or C&E driving license (preferred but not mandatory).
