About
We’re looking for a Technical Business Analyst (BA) to join our Partner Innovation team where you will play a critical role in enhancing our software development process. You will be responsible for gathering and documenting new requirements, mapping out processes, and working closely with the delivery squad to translate these requirements into actionable development tasks. The BA will also facilitate requirements-gathering workshops, mentor team members on best practices, and ensure that our delivery squad has high-quality requirements to work from, helping to create a well-defined backlog.
The Role
By joining our team you’ll:
* Work within a supportive environment that prioritises collaboration, continuous learning, and making a positive impact across our development and business processes.
* Collaborate with Product Managers, Delivery Managers, Tech Leads and stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document technical requirements that align with our business objectives.
* Work on API-focused projects to document functionality, identify areas for improvement, and maintain a standardised "as-is" technical repository to prevent repeated investigations.
* Partner with Developers, Testers, and Technical Leads to ensure requirements are well-understood.
* Lead requirements-gathering workshops, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on project goals.
* Contribute to the development of consistent practices by working closely with the Business Excellence team, helping to create a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.
* Develop comprehensive process maps and visual workflows using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and process mapping software (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
* Support our European expansion and scope new partner API development projects.
What you can bring to our team:
* The ability to gather and document requirements for software development projects, with particular experience in API integration.
* Strong facilitation skills, with experience leading workshops and engaging stakeholders to drive consensus.
* An ability to manage stakeholder relationships and navigate differing requirements.
* Excellent communication, great attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
* The ability to take initiative, working independently and managing competing priorities.
* Experience in understanding and documenting API functionality.
* Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and process mapping software.
* Familiarity with APIs is strongly desirable.
* Prior experience in an Agile or Kanban environment is beneficial, ensuring smooth integration into our delivery model.
