As the Channel Sales Manager, you will:
* Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of Ignition Technology's offerings.
* Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions address them.
* Achieve company quarterly objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and making weekly forecasts.
* Continuously develop skills for hiring, training, and leading team members, ensuring that they use effective sales tactics and tools to meet objectives.
* Complete performance reviews and assist on PIPs where needed.
* Provide support to the Channel Account Managers and their partners for networking and social events, attending where needed.
* Generate leads and establish and nurture client relationships.
* Demonstrate effective selling and presentation techniques to influence the client.
* Develop strong relationships with Marketing, Finance, Presales, and Services to ensure a seamless partner experience.
* Be responsible for 30 - 35% of Vendor Pipeline generation.
* Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them.
* Manage the month-end and quarter-end close processes.
* You are expected to attend client sites 2 to 3 days a week and be available to travel and stay overnight as needed.
The Channel Sales Manager will:
* Have previous experience managing sales in a corporate setting.
* Possess a proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing.
* Exhibit a positive attitude, personal integrity, high discipline, organization, a desire to win, and results-driven focus.
* Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Show superb leadership ability.
* Be articulate and highly presentable, confident leading meetings and presenting Ignition Technology to our vendors and our value proposition.
* Have a proven success rate at levels above sales quota.
* Possess previous experience mentoring and developing sales teams.
