Working hours: 24 hours per week, including evening and weekend work
Salary: SCP20 £22,145 pro rata per annum

We’re open during the day for our classes, and evenings for shows and concerts, currently we’re looking for people who have
availability to work both during the day, evenings and weekends.

representative of The Glasshouse, you will offer a welcoming, warm, and professional service to our audiences and visitors,
ensuring every interaction is memorable.
You will have the opportunity to lead teams across our various F&B outlets, including our bars, café, and brasserie, adapting to
business needs and gaining diverse experience. Additionally, you will contribute to the success of our prestigious conferences and
external hire events.

Our F&B team members will only be permitted to serve/sell alcohol in accordance with licensing law. If you are under the age of 18
you will be allocated alternative duties within the F&B portfolio.
It would be great if you had experience in:
Experience in leading teams & staff training
Experienced in both café & bar/cellar work
Supervisor/Team Leader experience, preferably in a Food and Beverage or Hospitality background
Skills and knowledge of:
Product upselling
Ability to work under own initiative
Strong leadership skills, leading by example
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize a varied workload
A strong understanding of operational F&B requirements
It also helps if you have:
Table service experience, food hygiene and allergen awareness, barista trained, cocktail trained
You’ll be responsible for:
• Upselling and Recommendations: Ensure that the Food & Beverage Team Members are aware of their duties and responsibilities to
upsell directly to customers by recommending specials and additional products.
•Efficient and Warm Service: Serve customers efficiently and appropriately, with a professional and warm manner.
• Team Supervision: Supervise the Food & Beverage Team Members in setting up F&B areas ready for service and throughout service.
• Hygiene Standards: Ensure that hygiene standards are met and exceeded.
• Leadership Role: Deputize for the Food & Beverage Team Managers when required.
• EPOS Till Operation: Serve customers using an EPOS till system in adherence with Company Cash Management Policy.
• Cash Handling: Handle cash in adherence with Company Cash Management Policy.
• Exceptional Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
• Staff Motivation: Motivate staff and lead by example to increase our TripAdvisor rating and reviews.
• Line Manager Duties: Undertake duties as requested by your Line Manager.
• Beverage Preparation: Make drinks, including barista coffees when required (training will be provided).
• Kitchen Collaboration: Work in tandem with the kitchen team to deliver efficient food service.
• Allergen Awareness: Ensure awareness of allergens in any food/drink served. If in doubt, refer queries to the on-duty manager
immediately.
• Licensing Compliance: Always comply with licensing law and internal policy pertaining to the sale and service of alcohol. If in
doubt, refer queries to the on-duty manager immediately.
• Service Preparation and Cleanliness: Prep all outlets for service and ensure that all outlets are correctly cleaned down at the
end of each service run.
• Area Maintenance: Ensure that your service area and back of house is kept clean and tidy throughout service and opening hours.
• Visitor Experience Enhancement: Proactively look for opportunities to enhance visitors’ experience during their time at The
Glasshouse.
• Uniform Standards: Adhere to the correct uniform standards.
• Incident Reporting: Report any incidents or equipment issues to relevant staff members as needed, following policy and
procedure.
• Customer Feedback: Report any customer complaints or feedback to relevant staff members as needed, following policy and
procedure.
• Food Safety Compliance: Comply with all food safety and hygiene measures.
