Main duties of the job
As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing care to people admitted to our ward for rehabilitation, working to uphold the highest standards. We work closely as a multi-disciplinary team. Our focus is promoting the comfort and wellbeing of patients, enabling them to live as independently as possible. Our small but friendly team encourages ongoing learning and development through reflection and clinical supervision embedded in our daily practice.
Our nurses are required to facilitate the day-to-day running of the ward, administering medications, working alongside all members of the MDT as well as patients, their families, and carers to provide 24/7 rehabilitation to enable the highest level of independence and quality of life. Our nurses are required to attend meetings as needed such as MDT and CHC or Discharge Planning.

Person Specification
Experience
* Experience gained during pre-registration training
* Post-registration experience in an inpatient setting
* Previous experience of day-to-day management
Knowledge
* Confidence to teach student nurses, patients, carers, and members of the multidisciplinary team
* Understanding of evidence-based nursing, multidisciplinary working, clinical governance
* Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development
* Rehabilitation practice, nursing care relevant to stroke, Parkinson's, Diabetes
* Knowledge and understanding of Mental Capacity and DOLs
Additional Criteria
* Responsible for own professional development
Qualifications
* RGN/RMN/RNLD
* NMC Registered
* I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.

Salary: £29,970 to £36,483 a year Pro-Rata for Part-Time
