What you will do:
- Provide a high standard of care in the assessment and treatment of patients requiring speech and language therapy services
- Develop bespoke therapeutic plans tailored to the individual needs and goals of each patient
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure an integrated approach to patient care
- Participate in the training and support of less experienced staff as well as students
- Conduct regular reviews and maintain accurate records of patient progress and outcomes
Generic Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the services of Richmond and Wandsworth Better Service Partnerships
- Comply with relevant Codes of Practice, including the Code of Conduct and policies concerning data protection and health and safety
- Adhere to security controls and requirements as mandated by Richmond and Wandsworth procedures
- Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion, maintaining an inclusive environment
- Understand duties and responsibilities for safeguarding children, young people, and adults
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy with HCPC registration
- Recent UK NHS post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
