We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Brookvale Primary School. We are a school that puts children at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience of working with children with SEMH and complex additional needs. You must be creative, positive, adaptable, and nurturing. We are also seeking someone with strong behaviour management skills and a good understanding of emotion coaching. You must be resilient and committed to ensuring children are at the heart of everything you do. As part of this role, you will work within our specialist teaching and nurture group, supporting vulnerable children who have SEMH and complex additional needs. You will work alongside our dedicated team who have been part of setting up the nurture provision.
Salary: Level 2 - £24,027 - £25,992 full time equivalent. Actual salary £18,478.38 - £19,989.60 per annum
Level 3 - £26,409 – £32,654 full time equivalent. Actual salary £20,310.30 - £25,113.13 per annum
Hours: 32 hrs and 30 minutes per week, term time only
Location: This role will be based at Brookvale Primary School, Mallard Drive, Erdington, Birmingham B23 7YB
Start Date: Required as soon as possible
