Are you ready to lead a large-scale clinical change in one of the UK's most dynamic and collaborative Community Dental Service (CDS) environments? This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in the development and delivery of the new West Yorkshire Community Dental Service Collaborative working with the five providers across West Yorkshire: Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust, LOCALA CIC, Leeds Community NHS Trust, Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, and Clarendon Spa.
We are seeking a motivated, talented, and capable leader to join the team as Programme Manager. You will be based with the co-ordinating provider, Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust, but you will work across West Yorkshire on key provider collaborative programmes aiming to improve oral care and patient outcomes.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide highly skilled programme management leadership to support the strategic and tactical development of the West Yorkshire Community Dental Service Collaborative. The post holder will:
1. Provide strong collaborative engagement, working as a 'change agent', creating, facilitating, and embedding new ways of working with partners within the collaborative, ensuring risks and issues are proactively managed.
2. Maintain clear governance standards putting in place best practice project and programme management principles and robust governance that provides assurance over the development of the collaborative objectives and quality outcomes.
3. Work in partnership to develop high performing, interdisciplinary partnerships at all levels so the collaborative programme momentum is maintained and issues are addressed proactively.
4. Support an improvement culture within the collaborative which promotes innovation, spotting opportunities to build wider capability to ensure efficiency and improvement remains a focus of the future West Yorkshire CDS collaborative.
5. Lead and support work with a dynamic group including service users, patients, clinicians, and colleagues across the system to deliver the objectives of the collaborative and associated projects.

Essential
* Educated to degree level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level.
* Evidence of continuing professional development/education and learning.
* Qualification in Prince 2, or other APM, or evidence of program/project delivery of successful transformational change.
* A high level of knowledge and experience in planning and delivering programmes and projects.
* Knowledge and understanding of the local and national health and care landscape, including policies and plans.
