About the job
As Digital & Projects Manager, you will be responsible for managing a small team to deliver and implement new and improved systems, services, and processes through digitisation and project management. You will be overseeing service-wide projects and embedding digital services across all areas.
What We Are Looking For From You
The successful candidate will have excellent and advanced project management skills, demonstrating good knowledge of research techniques to ensure business development delivery. You will have a high level of financial management and experience in report writing while meeting challenging timescales.
In addition, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisation skills, being able to work with and understand the needs of vulnerable people. You will need to be able to multi-task, take ownership of issues, and be IT literate in most Microsoft packages.

There are 2 posts available, one is permanent and one is temporary up until 31st March 2026.
Working knowledge of waste and recycling operations is important; however, full training will be provided. You will be able to quickly adapt to technologies used by the service. You will need to understand and operate in line with Council Policies and Procedures. You must maintain the reputation of the Council by adopting a professional and courteous approach.
