Registered Manager – Children's Residential Home (EBD) Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire Salary: £60,000 per annum £10,000 performance-based bonus Service: 4-Bed Children’s EBD Home – Rated “Good” Contract: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and motivated Registered Manager to lead and grow a well-established 4-bed residential home for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Kettering. The home currently holds a Good Ofsted rating and is on track for achieving “Outstanding” under the right leadership. As the Registered Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations, compliance, staff management, and strategic development of the home. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where children can thrive. Key Responsibilities Take full managerial responsibility for the home in line with Ofsted, safeguarding, and Children’s Home Regulations. Provide strong, positive leadership to a team of care staff, promoting a child-centred culture. Ensure each child’s care plan is implemented, reviewed, and updated to meet individual needs. Manage budgets effectively and ensure efficient use of resources. Liaise professionally with external agencies including local authorities, social workers, schools, and healthcare providers. Oversee and contribute to inspections, audits, and continuous improvement plans. Promote a therapeutic approach to care and support children in achieving their potential.
