IT Support Field Engineer | UK (Different Regions) | Initial 3 Months | Inside IR35
Experis have partnered with a Global IT Services Provider looking to recruit multiple IT Support Field Engineer’s across the United Kingdom.
This role involves responding to all incidents and requests as required to do so. To diagnose and fix hardware faults and basic software faults within the agreed Service Line Agreements, and to meet customer needs and expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to service tickets in your region., updating ticket progress after each visit.
* Regularly attend daily calls/teams meetings.
* Ensure all tickets are managed and updated accordingly.
* Follow departmental procedures as specified.
* Return all parts in a timely manner via the returns process with appropriate paperwork.
* Escalate any issues or areas for quality improvement.
* Raise warranty tickets and manage with vendor as required.
* Engage with the wider team.
* Work within a team to achieve departmental KPIs & SLAs.
* Build a good and professional relationship with customers onsite.
Key Experience Required:
* Full clean driving licence.
* Willingness to participate on the standby rota (24x7x365)
* Previous experience in a IT Support field service environment or IT support role.
* SC Clearance.
* HP/Dell Accreditations.
* Installation of customer builds/apps.
* Diagnosing hardware issues, troubleshooting, support & repair (including complex laptop break/fix repairs).
* Familiar with current Microsoft desktop operating systems.
