Full Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Bank Peripatetic Nurse (RGN/RMN) at Barchester, you'll travel across your region to deliver the high clinical standards we're known for. We'll look to you to lead a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that on each shift, at every location, all of our residents receive the highest quality care. Your responsibilities will include helping new residents settle in, supporting your team members' development, and creating care plans tailored to residents' physical and mental needs. As a Peripatetic Nurse, you'll have the autonomy to do things the right way and be truly valued and respected for your contributions.
ABOUT YOU
To join us as a Peripatetic Nurse, you'll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a current NMC registration and possess a teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification. A strong, up-to-date clinical knowledge is essential, along with a good understanding of key regulatory frameworks, including the safe administration of medicines, Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines, and NMC standards. We also value a successful track record in developing care plans and detailed risk assessments. Dedicated and ambitious, you'll lead by example with a can-do attitude, and your excellent communication skills will motivate the teams in each Barchester care home you work with.
REWARDS PACKAGE
Along with competitive pay, you'll enjoy true flexibility and numerous opportunities for learning and development. As one of the UK's leading healthcare providers, we are committed to supporting everyone's growth who works with us.
Note: As this is a Bank position to provide cover as needed, such as for annual leave or sick leave, your hours and work days will vary.
If you wish to apply your clinical and interpersonal skills in an organization that provides the quality care you'd want for your loved ones, this is a rewarding and empowering opportunity.
