Teaching Assistant – Year 1 (1:1 Behaviour Support) Location: Blackpool Start Date: 24th February Salary: £13.50 per hour Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday Teaching Personnel is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Blackpool, supporting a Year 1 child with high-level behavioural needs on a 1:1 basis. A wide range of learning experiences are provided to help children flourish both academically and personally. The ideal candidate will: Have experience working with SEN and supporting children with challenging behaviour. Be confident in implementing ‘Now and Next’ strategies to support the child’s progress. Set firm boundaries while building a trusting and positive relationship. Bring a friendly and engaging approach – someone who can connect with the child and have a laugh while maintaining professionalism.
