Thispost has been created to support both existing day-to day clinical sessions andthe development of future clinical services, including migration to a PCNspecific booking platform. The successful applicant will be responsible for organisingand coordinating appointment rotas and any associated work such as appointmentcancellations.
Theywill also provide high-level administration support to the PCN Manager, LeadershipTeam and member practices.
Our PCN employs over 50 members of staff including physiotherapists,social prescribers and pharmacists and the successful candidate will need toact as a liaison between these staff and practices within the PCN.
Thisindividual will be a key point of contact for staff, member practices and willbe able to sign post queries to relevant individuals as appropriate. The postholder will provide support in monitoring the progress of activity undertakenby staff and analyse and collate data on appointment usage across the PCN.
Thisrole involves providing effective administration skills across a wide varietyof tasks.
Main duties of the job
Effectivelymanage appointment rotas for PCN staff
Being the main point of contact for PCN staff when callingin sick and then contacting patients to rearrange their appointments
Providing administration support to the PCN Manager and Team Leads
Providing IT support and liaising between the PCN and GPIT
Managing the PCN MS Teams site
Maintaining the PCNs file management system
Collate activity reports from each service to demonstrate the workundertaken for their patients.
Undertake any ad hoc reporting as requested by the PCN Manager or membersof the PCN leadership team
Format and distribute the PCN newsletter
Prepare, produce, review and circulate all documents required formeetings in a timely fashion and to a high standard.
Develop and maintain electronic systems and/or databases required for therole.

Purpose of the role
This role has a specific focus on providing proactive administration support for the PCN Manager, the PCN Leadership Team and PCN staff leads, specifically with clinical rota and appointment administration.
This will evolve with the continuing development of the PCN; therefore this is not an exhaustive list but is representative of the roles core activities.
The successful applicant will be confident with IT systems, MS Office, Office 365 and an excellent communicator. They will be expected to have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing their workload and working to deadlines.

Qualifications
Essential
12. Good standards of general education - minimum of 4 GCSEs, at Grade 4 or above or equivalent must include English Language.
13. Keyboarding/typing qualification equivalent to RSA 3/OCR Advanced
14. text/word processing or equivalent proven typing skills to a high standard
15. Demonstrable commitment to professional and personal development
16. Ability to use Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

17. Educated to NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent knowledge/experience
18. Diploma level qualification and/or equivalent level of skills, knowledge and experience
