What you'll do:
1. Review the trading plan with your Cluster Manager to set and agree key actions that are reviewed on each visit.
2. Ensure the store is clean, tidy, priced, and full, and that colleagues are available at the right times to serve customers.
3. Use the scorecard proactively to manage performance and target priorities and actions.
4. Ensure your team members are supported, set clear and measurable targets, performance expectations, and objectives, and review regularly to celebrate success and develop a sense of pride in their store.
5. Keep teams up to date on stores, cluster, and business performance and appropriately challenge what store teams can do to help.
6. Work with Head Office to ensure awareness of the local environment to maximize local opportunities.
7. Ensure legal, health and safety, and legislative requirements are met within the store.
8. Adhere to the Corporate Trading plan and proactively achieve the sales numbers to deliver the plan.
What we'd love to see from you:
1. Current Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor within retail or similar industries.
2. Working knowledge of KPIs such as ATV and TPC.
3. Flexible in approach to support the wider cluster/area as required.
4. Ability to motivate teams, build strong relationships, and communicate well at all levels of seniority.
5. Experience of supporting employee training and development.
6. Able to adopt an engage rather than tell approach.
7. Proactive rather than reactive.
