Primary School Administrator
New Directions Education are recruiting for an experienced School Administrator, to work on a temporary basis in local primary schools. The roles available are long-term and short-term, covering internal staff absences such as sickness and maternity.
The working hours are full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 4pm, term-time only.
As the first point of contact for the school, all applicants must be professional, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and good customer service.
Our clients are seeking individuals with experience using the School Information Management System (SIMS). Previous experience working in a school office, logging pupil attendance, collating school dinner money and dealing with parents is highly desirable. Applicants without this experience will be considered but must be able to demonstrate a background working within Administration or Receptionist roles with transferable skills.
Duties will include:
1. Receptionist duties such as answering the phone and welcoming visitors
2. Dealing with school meals administration, ordering stationery, paying invoices, handling monies, printing and photocopying and managing schools’ systems like SIMS
